Welcome from Pastor Henry "Hank" Wilkins IV

 Greetings:
Welcome to this introduction to the Saint James United Methodist Church of Pine Bluff, Arkansas.  We are a youthful church with a rich and diverse spiritual history dating back to 1866.  The mission and ministry of the congregation spans the spectrum, from after school programs in several different sites through the community, to a spirit filled worship experience which speaks to people of various ages, races, and stations of life.
We celebrate Jesus Christ and the gift of victorious living in two morning worship experiences ( 8:00 a.m. and 11:00 a.m.).  However, you will find Saint James to be a very traditional congregation in that we embrace our history and tradition
while allowing our understanding of life in the contemporary world to ensure that we are relevant to where people are today.
So whether you are an active and committed Christian, or an individual looking for an
experience that will help you to find meaning and purpose for your life--Saint James is the
place for you.  There is no place in life that one can rise toward, or sink to, that God cannot
reach.  Enjoy the information that this site has to offer and feel free to contact us for
prayer, guidance or recordings of our services.  We welcome you!!!

Please contact us by email, or phone us at 870-536-6366, or write to us at P.O. Box
8951, Pine Bluff, AR, 71611, or visit at 900 North University Dr., Pine Bluff, Arkansas.

                                                                           Grace and Peace,

                                                                           Henry "Hank" Wilkins, IV

  Prayer Requests.

The following two lists are our way of keeping the congregation informed,
reaching out to, and praying for specific needs.  We solicit your help in keeping the list updated.  If there is someone who needs to be added, please contact the church
office.  When it is time to remove a name, please let us know.  If a name is
inadvertently removed that needs to be placed back on either list, simply contact the
church office.  Your help is greatly appreciated.
